An exhibition shaped by collaboration.
Motion Bandits brought skateboard art into GalleryOne11 in Cape Town in 2021. Livia participated as an exhibiting artist and co-curated the exhibition with Jared Aufrichtig.
Samurai Farai and Roger Ballen were among the participating artists. The exhibition benefitted Ladles of Love, bringing a shared social purpose into the curatorial work.
The project sits within a wider period of activity at GalleryOne11. Livia worked as a gallery assistant from 2018 to 2022, exhibited in group shows, and curated and hosted Senses of the Seasons, an immersive exhibition with live music, in 2021.
These projects form part of the collaborative foundation of a practice that continues to connect art, environments and community.
